Recently, there have been increasing reports of portable chargers (power banks) overheating, smoking, or catching fire, both in Japan and overseas.
To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following precautions when using portable chargers in your room.

• Please refrain from portable chargers when you are away from the room.
• When charging portable electronic devices using a portable charger or when charging the portable chargers using an in-room power outlet, please avoid placing it near windows with direct sunlight or on flammable surfaces such as beds and sheets.
• To minimize the risk of fire or malfunction, please use portable chargers only in locations where you can regularly monitor their condition.

Should any of the above situations be observed during housekeeping, our staff may move the battery to a safer location as a safety precaution.
