We are happy to celebrate A New Year with the guests.
We started this live performance by traditional Japanese instruments on 2013 followed by 2014 then started again from 2017. You can feel and enjoy the atmosphere created by sweet tunes of Koto and clear sound of Shakuhachi around the lobby of the hotel.

Furumai Sake is a custom for Japanese New Years to celebrate New Year to start by broaching a tap of Sake. It means starting new luck by breaking into a cask of Sake and Sake will be shared as shared the luck.

Mochi (Rice Cake) is traditionally special food for celebration like New Years. People enjoy Mochi-Tsuki ( Rice cake making ) by pounding rice in usu by a wooden stick called Kine with a voice of ‘Wasshoi’ to celebrate special occasion. The Mochi made is shared to share happinesss.
