Reservations

How far in advance can we make reservations?
Online reservation is available for up to six months in advance. For advance bookings over the date range, please contact our reservation staff at info-kaminarimon@gate-hotel.jp
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: 2:00 p.m
Check-out: 11:00 a.m.
If requested prior to check-in, early arrivals will be accommodated as the rooms become available. Depending on room availabilities, late check-outs may be arranged with prior arrangement. The late check-out charges are as follows:
1:00 p.m.: ¥2,000
3:00 p.m.: ¥4,000
Any later check-out after 3:00 p.m. will be one night’s room rate.
When is payment expected?
Please present your credit card upon check-in. The payment will be settled at the time of check-out.
Are there any additional charges?
Service charge: 10%
Tokyo Accommodation Tax: If the room fee and service charge totals between ¥10,000 and ¥15,000 per person, an additional ¥100 will be charged. For amounts over ¥15,000, ¥200 will be incurred.
Which credit cards are accepted?
The hotel accepts VISA, MasterCard, JCB, Diners Club, AMEX, and Discover Card, China UnionPay and domestic debit cards.
What is the cancellation policy?
The cancellation policy may vary depending on the type of reservation. Please refer to the reservation confirmation to verify. Cancellation on the day of arrival will be subject to 50% of the room rate, and a no-show will be subject to 100% of the room rate.
Does the hotel belong to any mileage program?
No, the hotel does not belong to any mileage program.

Guest rooms

What views are available form the guestrooms?
Style C/Classy rooms have a guaranteed view of the Sky Tree tower.
The balcony of The Suite Balcony opens out to the Kaminarimon-dori with a view of the Sky Tree and the Kaminarimon gate.
Is there internet access?
Yes. Internet access by cable or wireless is available free of charge in all guest rooms. LAN cables can be found in the desk drawer of each room or you may obtain the password for wireless service from the front desk.
What toiletries are available?
Shampoo & conditioner, soaps (liquid & bar), dental kit, hairbrush, shaving kit, vanity kit (cotton buds & pads), and shower cap.
Is there an English television instruction in the room?
Yes. The foreign language channels available are CNN, CCTV daifu, and KBS.
Are the guest rooms barrier -free?
We have a guestroom with universal design on the third floor. Please request at the time of booking.
There is a barrier-free wheelchair accessible toilet on the lobby floor.
Is there room service? Can the food from the restaurant be taken out?
No. In the interests of food safety and hygiene, no take-outs are allowed from the restaurant.

Are computers available for rental?
Rental laptop computers are available for ¥1,000 per night. As the numbers are limited, please request at the time of reservation.
Are rental wheelchairs available?
Yes, but the numbers are limited so please request ahead of time.
Are there baby beds?
Baby beds suitable for infants under 2 years of age are available. Please request at the time of reservation.
Are voltage transformers available?
Yes. Please request at the time of reservation.
Are there English language newspapers available?
The Japan Times is available for purchase at the Front Desk.
Can the hotel look after my luggage?
Yes, the hotel will look after your luggage either before check in or after check out. If necessary, the hotel will store luggage for guests with return reservations.
Can my luggage be sent to the hotel ahead of my stay?
Yes, any luggage or mail addressed to the guests will be looked after. Please make sure the correct name of reservation and the date of arrival will be indicated.
Can luggage be sent from the hotel?
We will handle shipment of luggage to any domestic or international destination. The hotel will not be responsible for any damages.
Is there a valet parking?
There is no parking facility available at the hotel, but there is an underground public parking in the neighborhood.
Is 24 hours medical care available?
The hotel does not have any physicians on call, but there are hospitals, dental, ophthalmologic, dermatologic, and orthopedic clinics in proximity to the hotel. The front desk staff will assist you.
